Friday the 13th was a great way to end the week.

Good evening Rainmakers!

It's been a great week over at the Rain HQ. We've had some great meetings this week and would love to thank the following organizations and, overall, very important people!

Delta Delta Delta ladies of CSULB -- They were wonderful hosts of a discussion on sustainability and career networking in college.

Sustainable Travel Intl -- They've partnered with our organization to bring our Members and Partners information on ecotourism & sustainable tourism.

International Green Shield -- They've partnered with us to expand their volunteer reach and raise awareness on college campuses. IGS protects people affected by harsh climates and natural disasters through the completion of preventative construction projects that utilize green technologies. We attended their successful inaugural fundraiser here in LA and will post footage from the event soon!

Mariel Hemingway, Ed Begley Jr, Peter Fonda, Madeline Zima, Lisa Ling, James Kyson Lee, Josh Tickell, Jeff Dowd and others -- All of these celebrity guests made time out of their busy schedules to hang out with The Rainmaker Network and others at the premiere of Fuel, a ground-breaking award-winning documentary. These influential players in the eco-arena had a few inspiring words for our Rainmakers...Interviews and shoutouts will be posted very shortly! (Apparently even "The Dude" aka "The Big Lebowsky" also abides by the green code of honor.)

Twestival/LA -- A hugely successful festival for all Twitter hipsters and web junkies alike, we helped raise money for charity: water. Yours truly was working the check-in area, in the case that you attended and didn't recognize me. Special thanks to the ladies of Delta Delta Delta for making an appearance and spreading the good word at campus in Long Beach. Altogether with their donations and effort they helped bring 40 years of clean water to people who need it most!

Stay tuned for more news and upcoming articles! Tis the season for internships and we're gearing up to bring you some money-and-time saving advice. Until next time, you can keep up with us in real time on Twitter @rainmakernet. For the remainder of the day, stay away from black cats and ladders!
