November is amongst us, which means Christmas, the season of giving, is right around the corner. I'm here to make sure you don't go broke on yourself before buying gifts for your loved ones. Check out this months tips:
Fashion: Remember back in pre-school when arts & crafts was the highlight of your day (besides snack time & nap time)? Bring back the old days. Be crafty and turn your old clothes into reusable tote bags! Get some accessories from a craft store, and add some glitz and glam to your new t-shirt bag!
Food: The pizza places feel your pain. That's why places like Pizza Hut are offering large pizzas for $6.99! What's the catch? It's carry out only.
Fitness: Just about everyone has iTunes nowadays. There are plenty of free video podcasts that offer exercise videos. Download them and create custom workouts from several of the videos.
Entertainment: Check with your student union to see about advanced screenings. Just about every school has them, where you can see movies before they hit theatres for just a few bucks.
Relaxing: Grab a good read! Not everyone is into thick novels with no pictures, but who says it has to be a book? Magazines keep you in the know (even though the Internet has somewhat interfered with that) but it's nothing wrong with checking out blogs and news articles.
Dating: My boyfriend and I enjoy challenging each other at video games, but try going to an arcade and doing the same thing. Make a tournament out of it. Bust open that piggy bank and whoever wins the most games has to buy dinner (so girls, make sure you win!)
Hope these keep some dollars in your pocket for the holiday season! Next month will be a special edition for last minute holiday shopping.
